In traditional Japanese tattooing, they are usually depicted in red or black. It was initially domesticated in China more than a thousand years ago for human consumption and later for ornamental purposes.<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><b>Since then, a wide variety of breeds have emerged<\/b> which can vary greatly in size, body shape, fin configuration and coloration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><b>In this small illustration he showed a Kingyo<\/b> in a very classic representation of one of the most popular breeds, known as the <b><i>Veiltail<\/i><\/b> or veiltail.
