Radio in the past was already good, but with today's platforms where <strong>you can choose what you want to listen to<\/strong> is a true marvel.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Audio content allows for a better understanding of the <strong>higher production at lower cost<\/strong>compared to audiovisual media. This brings the opportunity for many interesting people to create content and share with interested people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In my case, many times <strong>I opt for these contents<\/strong> in audio form for my learning and entertainment, <strong>because I still have my eyes free to perform another task while I listen and enjoy mentally creating the scenes.<\/strong> to accompany the audios. I am very serious when I say that <strong>I prefer to just listen, rather than use audiovisual platforms that require much more of my attention.<\/strong> and that <strong>frequently offer poor quality visual content<\/strong> and quite inferior to audio, because it requires much more money, time and work to make something of quality and worth looking at. &nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You know what I'm talking about, the internet is full of audiovisual productions where the audio is authentic and valid, but it is combined with image and video montages that are often pretty crappy, <strong>used simply to grab the viewer's attention in any way possible.<\/strong>.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-media-text alignwide is-stacked-on-mobile is-image-fill\" style=\"grid-template-columns:35% auto\"><figure class=\"wp-block-media-text__media\" style=\"background-image:url(https:\/\/carolidilli.tattoo\/wp-content\/uploads\/jesus-callejo-foto-fidel-duenas-Caroli-Dilli-La-Escobula-1-1.jpg);background-position:50% 50%\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"468\" height=\"459\" src=\"https:\/\/carolidilli.tattoo\/wp-content\/uploads\/jesus-callejo-foto-fidel-duenas-Caroli-Dilli-La-Escobula-1-1.jpg\" alt=\"Jes&uacute;s Callejo - Podcast La Escobula de la Brujula - Tatuajes - Una tradici&oacute;n milenaria - Foto de Fidel Due&ntilde;as\" class=\"wp-image-16698 size-full\" title=\"\"\/><\/figure><div class=\"wp-block-media-text__content\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-jesus-callejo\">Jes\u00fas Callejo<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>I share a taste for radio and the&nbsp;<em>podcast<\/em>&nbsp;with my partner&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/fidelfoto.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Fidel Due\u00f1as<\/a>who introduced me to<\/strong>&nbsp;a few Spanish programs that I didn't know about and told me about the people who produce them. Among these programs and people were&nbsp;<strong>la Esc\u00f3bula de la Br\u00fajula and its director Jes\u00fas Callejo<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A few years&nbsp;<strong>then I had the opportunity<\/strong>also through my boyfriend,&nbsp;<strong>to know Jesus personally<\/strong>his family and one of his collaborators and partner in the Esc\u00f3bula:&nbsp;&nbsp;<strong>Carlos Canales<\/strong>. This live encounter only increased my admiration for him.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Jesus is one of those people who surprise by his production capacity and his handling of a powerful weapon: the word. <strong>He has written a lot of books<\/strong> and made history in the world of radio and television. <em>podcasts<\/em>. Unfortunately there is a lot of sensationalist press that pass biased and prejudiced messages about tattooing.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">But when you love the program you have been invited to and share the same values represented there, everything flows much better.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Jes\u00fas Callejo has asked me to find someone from the academic world to accompany me to the <em>podcast<\/em><\/strong>someone who knew the history of tattooing, to contribute his knowledge to the discussion with the other members of the team.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It was laborious and fun to look for someone to accompany me. There is not much material produced in Spanish on the subject, but I came across some very interesting research that I would never have known about had it not been for Jesus' request.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">After a lot of searching, I decided to go with <strong>Ana Bel\u00e9n Rojo Ojados<\/strong>. It was not easy to reach her, but when I was able to contact her and invite her to the program, she was very receptive and said yes! Fermin impressed me, I was delighted that he was there and participated.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" id=\"h-cont-bamos-tambi-n-con-la-presencia-de-los-de-siempre-david-sentinella-carlos-canales-marcos-carrasco-juan-ignacio-maese-cuesta-francisco-izuzquiza-y-como-no-el-director-del-programa-jes-s-callejo-cabo-todos-han-tra-do-asuntos-poco-conocidos-por-el-p-blico-en-general-y-estuvo-muy-divertido-llevo-m-s-de-20-a-os-tatuando-y-he-aprendido-cosas-este-d-a-as-que-muy-bien\">We also counted on the presence of the usual people: <strong>David Sentinella, Carlos Canales, Marcos Carrasco, Juan Ignacio \"Maese\" Cuesta, Francisco Izuzquiza<\/strong> and, of course, the program director <strong>Jes\u00fas Callejo Cabo<\/strong>. Everyone has brought issues little known to the general public and it was a lot of fun, I've been tattooing for over 20 years and I learned things this day. In her thesis she has developed an impressive work about the cultural phenomenon of extreme body modifications, focusing on the field of tattooing, <em>piercing<\/em> and other body techniques derived from these practices.&nbsp;<\/h6>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In 2017 <strong>this thesis was transformed into a book<\/strong> which may appeal to tattoo and\/or piercing collectors, sympathizers and the curious.
