What do I need to buy for good tattoo healing?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

No need to buy anything in advance<\/strong>you will be able to find all the products easily. And depending on the tattoo, you may not need all of them. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Still, it's good to get an idea of what you'll need to cure your new tattoo. <\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

There is a wide range of plasters and tapes that can be used for tattoo bandages. I recommend a paper tape<\/strong>. You can find it in pharmacies and it is better if it is hypoallergenic. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

You will wear it as many times as you need to use the plastic film, and depending on the type of bandage you will NOT need it. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Tattoo healing cream<\/strong><\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Depending on where you live, there will be different brands. Your tattooist will be able to recommend brands, quantities and dosage.<\/strong>.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

My favorites are those of vitamin A and D<\/strong>and, as a second option and very easy to find, the ones that have as main ingredient the panthenol<\/strong> .<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Time of use:<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

The healing cream will be used in the first days, depending on the tattoo. In any case, if the healing cream you have bought comes with a leaflet, be sure to read it. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Natural vegetable oil or moisturizing cream for healing skin<\/strong><\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

For the first month, I recommend moisturizing with pure or mixed natural vegetable oils. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

As there are many, I will mention two very economical and easy to find: extra virgin coconut oil<\/strong> o extra virgin olive oil<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you prefer moisturizers, it would be best to seek out a dermatologist or pharmacist to recommend one that is appropriate for healing skin.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Time of use:<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

During the first week it can be alternated with the use of the healing cream, as your tattoo artist says. And during the first month it is recommended to moisturize with natural vegetable oil instead of common moisturizing creams. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Wide clothing<\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

You will need loose-fitting clothing, preferably cotton and dark in color <\/strong>for the first days after tattooing. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The color of the clothes is optional. I recommend dark clothes because they can always stain in the first days after tattooing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
