Lafcadio Hearn

Lafcadio Hearn, also known as Koizumi Yakumo, was a Greek-Irish American writer, scholar and journalist who lived in Japan in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. He is known for his works on Japanese culture and mythology, and for popularizing Western interest in Japan.
