I created this drunken-looking figure and called it hyotan bake.
I made it because I think the bottles made of pumpkin are so beautiful(hyotan in Japanese). These bottles are very traditional and well appreciated in Japan, and are also very popular in Japan. appear in various tales and legends. Surely there will be those that have been preserved for more than a hundred years, and perhaps some of them will have become tsukumogami.
The fact that I imagined this character does not mean that he no longer existed, it simply means that I did not find any record of ghost pumpkins.. This creature that you see is the representation of an ancient bottle, and it is clear from its face that this yokai likes to go up to the top with sake.
