Buddha tattoo, mandala and mudra

I seem to remember talking to the girl with this very spiritual tattoo for the first time at the end of a boxing class with Paco Castillejo, but I already knew her from another contact sports gym we frequented, the old Club Deportivo Barceló in Madrid.

In addition to our love of wrestling, we also share a taste for the artthe philosophy and the oriental tattoos.

She is nicknamed Pitu and I am very fond of him. He has been tattooing with me for many years, he started with small pieces, but he already had plans to do bigger tattoos.

In 2016 he finally came in to have the eastern half sleeve of the right arm done.

This elegant tattoo is made in Black and Gray and Dotwork. It has the Buddha's face as the central element of the composition, accompanied by his hands. The left hand performs the Prithvi Mudra, and the right hand announces the Vitarka Mudra gesture.

On the front of the shoulder she wears a mandala, and as a background for the tattoo the flower of life pattern. All elements have related meanings.
