This is one of the few pieces that I present in this website session that do not belong to the oriental style. Although I have a preference for the irezumiThere are certain traditional tattoo motifs that really stimulate me to draw as well.
In 2013when Zingerela came to me to commission the preparation of a full sleeve with snake and flowers.I was delighted with the idea from the very first moment. The theme she chose is a classic and one of my favorites, so much so that I wear it on my left arm..
Initially, when we first met to discuss how we would do her tattoo, I suggested she do it in color and use peonies instead of roses.
At that time, Zingerela had already been maturing the idea of her snake tattoo for some time and already sensed that roses would be the most suitable for her.
It was years before we started with his tattoo in 2015. and in this time I had the opportunity to get to know Zingerela better, and knowing the powerful symbolism that roses and snakes have, it was clear that she had found the way to represent everything she wanted.
We have had 6 sessions with this full sleeve tattoo, totaling about 17 hours of work.
