Kani no katana

Heikegani Series

The moment of the transformation of the Heike family into crabs and other stories related to this episode are portrayed in many illustrations. ancient. Hundreds of years later, these representations continue to serve as inspiration for drawings and tattoos all over the world. This drawing called kani no katana is just one more to illustrate and remind us of this curious legend.

Kani no katana means "Japanese crab claw sword." and does not appear among the traditional Japanese depictions related to the Heike-gani legend. Simply was something I wanted to draw inspired by the story in question.

- I do not perform more than a single tattoo with each drawing what do I do. Although I can always prepare a new one like it, I do not repeat them on the skin.
