Dragon and Sakura Tattoo - Full Back

This tattoo is not finished yet. I started it in 2018 and I keep working on it every time I go to Madrid.

Tony Moreno is my client and friend since 2014, when we started with his arm tattoo, done between 2014 and 2015 also in Madrid. You can see his other tattoo in this same session of the web, it is a full arm and chest tattoo with a snake and two masks: one of Hannya and one of Tengu. 

Here you can see Tony's full back, with a Japanese style dragon accompanied with sakura (cherry blossoms), gakubori and fire.

As I said before, we started this full back tattoo in 2018. I don't live in Madrid anymore, but I visit the city regularly and every time I go, we move forward with 2 or 3 hour sessions.

We have had to take a break because of the pandemicAnd fortunately, thanks to Tony's care with his tattoo, there is practically no difference between pigments applied from 2018 to 2021. This is especially true if one protect your tattoo from the sunIf so, the years go by and the ink under the skin remains practically the same shades.

Now there is not much left to do, the grays and black are already in place and all that remains is to apply the other colors, which do not take up so much skin.

I am very happy with how this dragon is turning out. It's one of my favorite subjects in Japanese tattooing and I have a great time with Tony every time.  

I will be eternally grateful to Tony and to other clients who, like him, have placed their trust in me. and they have had the courage and discipline necessary to tattoo such a big piece and put everything on their side so that the tattoo turns out well. I am very clear that the merit is not only mine, as many who look at it from the outside think. I simply could not do it without the collaboration of people like Tony Moreno.
